Otronicon Hosted and Created By:

Orlando Science Center

On March 5, 2014, Orlando Science Center and Otronicon partners including Lockheed Martin, FIRST, STEM Sim Ex, and Team Orlando converged in Tallahassee to facilitate discussion with state legislators; engage them in active participation of hands-on STEM activities; and promote the value of science centers and strategic partnerships as a tool to inspire and encourage our youth to pursue STEM careers.

Also joining them at the Florida Capitol were Florida State University's National High Magnetic Field Laboratory and the Museum of Science and Industry (Tampa).

Among the legislators pictured are Florida Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera, Rep. Jason T. Brodeur, Rep. David Santiago and Rep. Michelle Rehwinkel Vasilinda.
