Costume Contest

Now’s your chance to show off that Master Chief costume or haul out those Mario Brothers’ overalls. Compete for prizes, showcase your creativity or just come check out the costumes. You’re guaranteed an unforgettable experience.

Cocktails & Cosmos

Orlando Science Center cordially invites you to Downtown Orlando’s most scientifically unique and socially inclined experience. The social scene will be set by a Happy Hour filled with a variety of food and drink specials, followed by an evening of live music, art, fashion and video games.

Thank you to all of our event partners, models, and guests for an amazing event! Don't miss the next Cocktails & Cosmos on February 20, 2010.

Check out the photos from the Costume Contest on Friday, January 15, 2010!

With the recent cold in Orlando, it's only fitting that Otronicon should feature it's own Winter Olympics. Play Wii Mountain Sports and compete in seven different full-length sports including:

  • Skiing
  • Snowboarding
  • Sledding
  • Tubing
  • Bobsledding
  • Curling
  • Biathlon

This free competition will take place throughout Otronicon, with the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalists announced at the end. Winners from each event will take home great prizes!

The Winter Olympics are just around the corner. Earn your own gold medal at Otronicon!

See Official Rules for More Information

1.    All participants must have an Otronicon admission wristband visible at all times, even on stage. People who work here or volunteer for Otronicon are not allowed to enter the contest, even if they’re not working that day.

2.    We plan to have time for 40 entries at the Costume Contest. All entries must register for the contest before 5:00 PM on Friday, January 15. The first 30 entries are definitely in the contest." Once filled, an additional 30 entries will be in as alternates, or if we’ve got time.

3.    Entries will be separated into four groups. These group listings only tell the judges how closely to examine each costume.
